Ceramics
In preparation for a ceramics unit, I explored Discovery Education Streaming and found Native American clay pottery, and the art of clay work. The videos were used to bring multicultural awareness to my students which is an aim of our school. My students enjoyed the precise steps as visually depicted in the videos. I find the children look forward to seeing Discovery Education Streaming videos. When I start a new lesson they try to guess what kind of movie they will get to see next.
