Who is Mrs. Ruiz?

I lover of technology and education.  I believe school should be fun and not just about state tests, textbooks, and worksheets.  I want my classroom to be a 2nd home to my students where they feel comfortable and enjoy coming to every day.  I want to help my students become the best students they can be and instill in them a love of learning.
What is this blog about?

In a nutshell, everything education.  My class, my pursuit of National Board Certification, teaching/learning tools…in general my reflections on any of the facets of teaching.
