Make your Social Studies lessons come alive by using Google Earth and Discovery Education to create interactive virtual field trips that will take your students all around the world. Learn how to create a basic tour in Google Earth. Then take it to the next step by adding images, website links, audio, and video to each tour stop. Bring your laptop so you can learn how to build your own virtual tour of South Dakota’s greatest landmarks. You will need to have Google Earth installed on your computer. It can be downloaded for free at http://www.earth.google.com.
