STAR Thank You
As a small token of our appreciation, we would like to send every STAR DE a little back-to-school thank you gift. This year we have a very unique, yet practical and “green” gift - a DEN Hydro Clock. The clock runs on water not batteries and can be proudly displayed on your desk to remind you that any time is a good time to log into the DEN site and connect with your peers.
To receive your hyrdo clock, please read the directions carefully.
Log in to www.DiscoveryEducation.com.
Go to the My Account page in the upper right hand corner.

Update and/or confirm your profile information and click Save Changes.

Keys to remember
- The address should be the shipping address where we will send your thank you gift.
- NO P.O. Boxes!
- Don’t list the name of your school, in the address fields just the street address.
- If you live on a street, avenue, circle, parkway, and so on, please note it. Be sure to add Ave, Pkwy, and such as needed.
- If ALL of the information is correct, just scroll down to the bottom and click Save Changes.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION IF YOU DO NOT CLICK SAVE CHANGES.
We will begin shipping the hydro clocks in late October.
For bonus points, upload your photo to your profile.

Hydro Clocks Rocks! I love how these gifts are connected to themes. They are awesome for showing at trainings and encouraging new DEN Star sign-ups! I’ve recruited over 20 new DEN Stars in the past few weeks and I bring along all the goodies to show. Except the astronaut ice cream. That did not last long in my office!
Thank you for being so generous!

Thanks Lance and DEN for all the support, encouragement, training, and goodies.
October 4th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
Thanks for the green gift. The BVMs have “water” as a project this year for our 175th anniversary. We are trying to educate about the toxic problems of millions of plastic water bottles being destroyed daily in landfills. The water in plastic bottles is unregulated and often the source is not known. Some companies just use tap water. Go Green, conserve water. What a thoughtful gift to use water in a green way!
October 4th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
The Hydro clock is just too cool!!!!! I can’t wait for my students and colleagues to see it. You guys really make teachers feel appreciated! Thank you Lance & DEN!

This is just a cool technology gift. Thanks for all that you do to encourage teachers and tech coordinators to continue to explore and continue their knowledge.
October 29th, 2008 at 7:58 pm
Sounds like a real grabber of an idea! I teach career changers going into teaching, and this kind of out-of-the-box item will be a great hook for them to take into their classrooms to hook their kids into some pretty powerful learning. COOL!
November 7th, 2008 at 11:06 am
So… it is now November… have the clocks been shipped??? I am excited to get mine!
November 7th, 2008 at 3:19 pm
Beth-
I realize that it is November and yes, the clocks have been shipped
Lance
November 7th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
For anyone else who may have just recently updated their information we will be sending a second shipment at the end of November. The plan was to collect the information in two batches and send one shipment at the end of October and one at the end of November so we didn’t miss anyone. So if you don’t get your clock in the first batch, don’t worry.
November 7th, 2008 at 4:16 pm
Great! Well I updated my info on Sept 26th.. so I guess my clock is on its way in the first batch! I will keep my eyes open for it!!!
thanks
Beth
