Sarah,
It sounds like you have a really good start on your GAME plan. Collaborating with colleagues is always a great way to gain ideas and even learn new strategies for yourself. The Holiday card exchange sounds like a wonderful project. Is this a project in your school or are you going to be working with other classrooms outside of your school? If you are working within your school, once you complete this project and gain a little more confidence, you could expand and find a classroom outside of you school to complete a project with. You sound like you have great ideas…good luck implementing them and I will be anxious to hear how they turn out.
Emily,
The Holiday Card Exchange project is a collaborative project designed by Jen Wagner at JenuineTech.com. There are 4 other teachers in my building participating in the project as well but noen of us are in the same group. There are 25 classes in each group and every class will make a card to share with the other 24 classes in the group. My group has other classes from all over the country, as far as California (I am in Virginia). These projects involved teachers/classes from all over the U.S. as well as in other countries.
