Show Me the Grants!
I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite grant sites. These sites were helpful to me when I was looking for grants to apply for and most importantly, when I needed tips to create a compelling proposal. There ARE resources out there… you just have to go after them– good luck!
- US Department of Education- Technology Grants
- School Grants
- eSchool News Technology Solutions
- Technology Grant News
- Teachnology Grants & Funding
- Grants & Grant Writing –Starting Point
Don’t be shy…share the wealth! If you know of other resources on grants, please feel free to share.

I would love to attend FETC in January as part of a grant opportunity. Does anyone know of a grant coming up soon that I might could use some or part of the money to go to the convention in Orlando? If so, any helpful tips would be appreciated, too.

Michele– You might want to start with the Florida Department of Education. They have grants available to Florida teachers: http://www.firn.edu/doe/grants/grantsdev/compgrants/cgmain.htm
I hope this helps!

Thanks Matt! I am taking courses in Instructional Media through Wilkes. I am in information overload with technology knowledge but need technology tools! I would love to get a SmartBoard.
Thanks again,
