I just got through reading Cindy Putnam’s blog. Cindy is a STAR DEN member from Memphis. In her blog she shared ZipSkinny. This site is both phenomenal and depressing (at least if your zip code is the same as mine).

My zip code is 37323 (Cleveland, TN - Southern Bradley County). We have 12.5% of our population with less than a 9th grade education. In contrast, only 8.2% of the population has a bachelor’s degree or higher. ZipSkinny will also compare your zip code with surrounding zip codes, spit out great charts and graphs, show the schools in the zip code, and allow you to build a widget for your code.
