Web 2.0 tools to know — please comment

I am curious (also developing some presentations):  what Web 2.0 or other tech tools do you think educators should know about, at least be familiar with term and look of item?

How about it gang?  Please comment with your list!

Google Docs, Wikis (PB wiki, Wikispaces, WetPaint), Twitter, Glogster, Flickr (and assorted Flickr tools), Slideshare, Delicious/Diigo….and the list goes on! :)

http://www.wordle.net/ - create your own word clouds based on word frequency. You can copy text from a certain genre and create a genre word cloud. Try copying presidential speeches…very interesting!

http://www.imagechef.com/ - create great customizable images. Lots of fun!

Of course, wikis are great tools for educators (multiple platforms). Wikis provide anytime, anywhere collaboration space that is free! Great for group projects, for planning things (events, meetings), and could be used for book discussions, writing prompts, and many many more things!
