September 10th

Library Harvest:  This is an annual event sponsored by ESC 11 specifically for librarians.  They have a chance to meet with company reps (such as DEN/Discovery) and attend breakout sessions on library and tech ideas (Kayla Steiner will be talking about products from Discovery and Charlotte and I will talk about the DEN), and share ideas with others.  The session is on September 10 at ESC 11 in Fort Worth, 3001 North Freeway.  Central Registration Department   at (817) 740-3659 or by email at CentralRegistration@esc11.net

LIBRARY HARVEST REAPS A CROP OF INTEREST IN DEN

Eager to learn librarians filled sessions on use of Discovery and the wonders of the DEN at the Library Harvest at ESC 11 in Fort Worth on September 11.   The session attendees were shown the new Discovery Streaming interface, how to use the new student center, and more.   DEN leaders Betsy Ruffin and Charlotte Solorio told about the many great things available in the DEN for librarians.   Attendees also had a chance to pick up materials and  speak with DEN members at the DEN vendor table.
