Sally Walter posted a comment about this website in response to the Power of 10 post from the other day — she recommended Virtual Earth – a website on MSN that allows you to view roadmaps and aerial photos of places all around the world; I love this site – so I thought it deserved a post of its own. I typed in addresses of all of the places I lived when I was growing up (I moved a lot) and was able to locate the street in aerial photos for each one

This would obviously be a great site to use when teaching geography – but I can see a number of other uses for it as well in Social Studies and Math

Thanks for your comment Sally!  Keep them coming!
