Region 16 Day of Discovery

What a great way to spend a day in Amarillo!  On November 1, educators from all around Region 16 gathered at Region 16 ESC for a Day of Discovery!  Almost 50 teachers, media specialists, and technology specialists gathered for a day of collaboration, learning, and excitement. Lecture_hall

We had breakout sessions of PowerPoint Integration and utilizing the learning tools in unitedstreamingLab_work Lab_work_2

Neils Nevad, a technology specialist from Amarillo ISD, gave a great overview of Microsoft Movie Maker and Photo Story (thanks Donna Hill!) as we explored new ways to use the video clips.  My excitement level grew as I realized that using Movie Maker is a fun way to make my own video using the editable clips. Thanks Neils for your time and great sense of humor!   Cimg0167

We feasted on baked goods in the mornings and lasagna for lunch. Lunch
