Please allow me to introduce myself.

Steve_dembo_head_shotMy name is Steve Dembo and I will be your Online Community Manager this evening!  I recently joined the Discovery team and am incredibly excited to be here.  I’m going to be working hard to make the Discovery Educator Network web site as helpful and responsive to your needs as it can possibly be.  There are exciting changes in the works, and new features may pop up at any time.

For example, we now have the ability for you to subscribe to this blog via email!  If you look in the upper right hand corner of this page, you’ll see a place where you can enter your email address.  If you do so, you will receive updates in the comfort of your own inbox.  This functionality will be added to each of the regional blogs too, so don’t forget to subscribe in both places!  That way you’ll always be the first to know about news and events, around the country and around your own neighborhood.

Congratulations Steve!!! I’m fired up to see what you and the others can pull of in this space. I think a nice “SubBloglines” button would be a nice, simple addition in the bottom right.

Great job Steve. I have listened and read several of Steve’s other projects on the web and can’t wait to see what he does with the DEN site.

Congrats, Steve! Look forward to your personal touch here. But couldn’t you find a picture of yourself not in a bar? Sure looks like several bottles on the shelf behind you. 🙂

Best of luck to you! The folks at Discovery made a good hire.
