This past week, Field Managers Michelle Weeks and Lance Rougeux visited the schools of our four Discovery Educator Network National Poster Contest award winners to present them with their prizes. Probably the biggest prize is the fact that currently there are 20,000 copies of the posters being distributed across the country. So, just for fun, if you have one of the posters hanging in your classroom, hallway, etc. here is your chance to earn a prize.
Be one of the first ten people to send me (scott_kinney@discovery.com) a picture of the poster(s) hanging up in your school and I will send you a Discovery Educator Network t-shirt. If your picture includes people, we will need a release form for everyone in the picture. Also, make sure to tell me where you are from (school and state).
- Lisa Garcia, Borger, TX (grades 5 and under)
- Jajaira Soto-Ramos, Harrisburg, PA (grades 6-8)
- Rose Ortiz, Harrisburg, PA (grades 6-8)
- Hannah Min, Coal Center, PA (grades 9-12)
Congrats to all the winners! A couple nice articles came out in PA about the winners. Here is one about Hannah’s winning “Einstein” design.
