Getting Back into the Swing of Things

I know! How cruel of me to remind you that after you spend your summer getting to know the new Anischl unitedstreaming, in professional development classes, courses towards a higher degree and maybe an extra dollar in your paycheck, and if you’re lucky – two or three days of a vacation, you have to go back to school. But I love the whole going back to school thing. As Meg Ryan says in the film You’ve Got Mail, "It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address." Okay, so she was talking about New York in the fall, and I’m not sending you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if you send me your address, but I’ve got irons in the fire to plan a fun and relaxing back to school event.

Baseballworld I figured that since we had a grand slam of a time at FETC we’d play a little more ball. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have invited us to use their clubhouse on July 21st from 3-6 for you to hear from the attendees of the first South East Regional Conference and the National Conference. Then we’ll break down the room, go grab a hotdog, cracker jacks, and drinks and find our seats in the lower reserve for a fun filled night of baseball. We’ve got a prize for everyone, and a chance for you to win a projector (much nicer than a bouquet of pencils) and other fun prizes to make going back to school a bit more memorable.

North Florida DEN Members get this experience for free. If you’d like to invite a unitedstreaming user to the event, you can purchase them a ticket for $15. If you have conducted 4 trainings and turned those forms into me, then the ticket will cost you $10. If you would like to have your family meet you at the game for a chance to meet your North Florida DEN Members, tickets are $20. Due to limited space in the meeting room, they won’t be able to join you from 3-6 though. (Sorry!)

We’re also looking at doing a small excursion from 12:30-2:30 before the baseball event – close to the field. Details coming soon.

If you are interested in attending, you need to either email me or go to the calendar on the DEN website and register. (If you’re bringing a unitedstreaming guest, they must have registered for the site prior to June 15. Please email me their name and school. If you are bringing a non-unitedstreaming guest to the event, please email me so I can get them counted in for tickets.)

Hope to see you all there!

I’ll see you there, Cheryl. I am bringing my son and husband along for the game.

I am trying to get my Dad to come, too. He is also an Educator who uses United Streaming regularly.
