Hey North and South Florida! Looks like the Florida Goodnews Grapvine has traveled to other blogs. Matt Monjan is sharing Polk County’s Virginia Richard’s Good News on how she uses unitedstreaming with the Administration in her district! Go read the Implementation Blog to find out more! Way to go Virginia, and thanks Matt for highlighting her efforts to share the good news.
Don’t forget, if you have some good news you want to share, send it to Karen_Seddon@discovery.com.
Way to go Virginia! – I really thought you had some good suggestions because getting the administration hooked is often more important thank the staff! If the principal believes in it (unitedstreaming, DEN) – IT will be used!
I read this on the Implementation Blog yesterday. Sounds like a great idea!
Cheryl , that is so true ! Sometime the administration is more important !
Congratulations! Another feather in the Florida cap!
I agree that you need to make the administration aware of the power of unitedstreaming. Once they are behind it, it is easier to get projectors and motivate the teachers to use the product.
I also suggest having the administration require the staff to attend a unitedstreaming training during a faculty meeting. We did that at my school and the results were very positive.
Showing the teachers how they can easily intergrate unitedstreaming into their lesson is another trick.
I have found small group training to be the most benificial.
I love reading the Implementation Log. There are lots of neat tips and information on there. Keep up the good work, I-Team!
What a great way to get the Administrators on board!
