are invited to participate in a Professional Development Day at Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh
Session Topics will include:
•Digital Storytelling
·Create a product for your classroom using unitedstreaming
video, audio, images and more
•Director’s Cut
·Have your students become part of the show using
unitedstreaming editable clips and a green screen
•unitedstreaming and
Google Earth
·Learn how to create your own virtual fieldtrips
all over the world while integrating unitedstreaming resources along the
way
Followed by Science Fair Central: A Survival Guide for
Teachers hosted by Elmer’s Glue & Discovery Education with
a special guest speaker Our Very Own Lance

Survival Guide for Teachers Event
STAR Discovery Educators are
encouraged to invite ALL their colleagues to this evening event as this
particular workshop is open to all educators. For each colleague you bring to this special workshop you will receive a
raffle ticket to win a LCD projector and other prizes. Raffle drawings will
occur after the presentation and wining STAR Discovery Educators must be
present to claim the prizes.
