Open House

I always enjoyed Open House Nights at my school. Our classroom was cleaned and prepared for the night. We showcased the best of our work, sometimes had students ready to do a short presentation on what we’ve been learning, and had snacks in the room to make our room feel inviting. It help encourage the parents to come back during the school day and assist when possible.

I hate that I’m getting this to you late, but there’s another Open House that’s about to take place here in Florida. It’s the Open House at Busch Gardens. Now, on December 9th we’ll be taking our last COSMEO trip there, but for those who can’t join us (or even if you are joining us) check out this great opportunity that’s FREE to Florida Teachers.

Here are the details:

Florida teachers are invited to experience Busch Gardens’ Teacher Open House on Dec. 5th and 6th. Meet our team of animal ambassadors to learn their role in conservation for their wild counter parts, and discover our Wild Education Experience offerings first-hand. This is your chance to plan for an upcoming field trip and discuss your ideas with Busch Gardens’ Education staff. This event requires pre-registration and is free to Florida teachers. Space is limited, so sign up today.
