I would love to post a list of outstanding projects done by IL teachers in conjunction with United Streaming and/or general technology. I know you can find some of these by using Google, word of mouth, and perhaps Regional Offices of Education, etc. It would be great to have a growing list of projects with links to lesson plans, outcomes, projects, from just IL teachers.
This state has great teachers and great students, let’s showcase them. Is this a good idea? Is this feasible? If people think its a good idea, I am going to create a page connected to my website that I can begin to showcase. I can almost see this as an entire website… You could search by region, school, teacher name, etc.
Perhaps I have missed the boat. Is there already a resource like this?
I think this is a great idea! I’m always looking for new ideas and this would be the perfect solutions.
The Apple Learning Intercahnge is a good example of what you’re talking about (http://edcommunity.apple.com/ali) Does our own Resources area (http://www.discoveryeducatornetwork.com/kr/default.cfm?domain_id=124855) cover that? The trick is getting teachers to come forward and to convince them that their lesson is good enough to upload and share.
Good point Joe… there are lots of exchanges etc… The difference in what I was thinking is the ability to showcase specifically IL. I don’t know if I see that in other resources…
I love this idea! Would there be some sort of template to fill in to be sure all of the needed info is turned in?
