I got to spend some great time at the TCEA convention last week. So much to see and do, so many great sessions available. A few pages from my notebook:
Linda Dickerson spoke on using Adobe Acrobe Pro 8 to create interactive pdfs and special tools available
Patrick Crispen gave us his view of coming events, discussing new hardware, recordable media, utilization, and television updates here or coming. Check http://netsquirrel.com/ , his website, for more information.
TEA folks gave us information on the K12 databases now available from Ebsco and Britannica. If you don’t know about these, check with your librarians.
Also went to some great speaker and vendor sessions on libraries, Smart Board, and ESL strategies using technology.
More to come about vendor floor items when I go through the wealth of material I brought back.
do you know when the sessions will be available online? DUring my sessions, I was told they would be available. Thanks for your info.
I have not heard for sure. When I find out something, I will try to remember to post the information here.
Which whiteboard product did you prefer? Our school district is beginning to look at all of the ones that were offered at TCEA?
