New Online Resources to Try Through April 15th

In Iowa we are very blessed to have statewide access to some of the best online resources out there without having to have our individual districts or schools purchase them. The Iowa AEAs and the Iowa Educators Consortium (IEC) who currently give us access to Iowa AEA online and discounted pricing on hardware and software are now offering statewide trials on some of the best web-based library resources available for K-12, college and public libraries.

On top of the already outstanding web based software we now have trials on Discovery Education Science Connection; Points of View Reference Center from EBSCO; Facts On File; Teen Health and Wellness from Rosen Publishing and Testing & Education Reference Center, WebFeet, and AP Subject-Specific Periodical Collections from Gale.

Statewide Trials – March 1 to April 15

Please encourage students to try these products during the trial period to see how they can enhance and support your curriculum. Visit the IEC website at for complete information. (IEC website: Click on Media & Technology located on the left and then on Online Resources. Choose the product of your choice.)

Trials will be active through April 15, 2008. All products include school and home access for students and staff.
