FETC Pre-Conference Event

fetc 09FETC is right around the corner and we’re planning a series of fun activities for STARs to connect while in Orlando.  On Wednesday, January 21st we will be hosting a pre-conference event at the Central Florida Zoo from 8 am to 4 pm.  Register today by completing the form below.

In addition to the pre-conference event we will be hosting Lunch and Learn sessions for our STARs on Thursday and Friday in the Discovery Education corporate room.  Rumor has it that we might even have a special guest join us for lunch on Thursday.

More details will follow in the new year, but if you want to join us for the pre-conference event register today!

How do I register for FETC Lunch and Lean events? I can not be released for the event on Wednesday due to housing costs.

Nathan, contacting Lance (Lance_Rougeux@discovery.com) would be the most direct route, though I have a feeling there’ll be more information as we enter the new year.

I am excited to see the Discovery crew and have a great time at the zoo. If you can get away on Wednesday you should be sure to come. I always learn so much and enjoy meeting all the other DEN members. I hope to meet some of you there.

Will there be transportation provided to the zoo, or do we have to get there on our own? If so, what is your best (read cheapest) recommendation)

I can not come on Wednesday, but I look forward to seeing everyone at lunch on Friday. Which room number is the Discovery corporate room?

@Laura – they always seem to have a chartered bus. Don’t know why this trip would be any different. Drop Lance a line if the details don’t pop up here or in your email by the end of the week.

I can’t seem to find the information for a free exhibits pass. Can someone help me please? I can only attend one day, but I hope to make it a long and educational one. Thanks!
