Are Your Students Ready to Change the World?

We can talk about students as agents of change, but the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge, partnering with Discovery Education and the National Science Teachers Association

invite you to join the only Challenge of its kind that empowers students to create solutions to environmental problems in their own backyards, and to share their results with students nationwide. They’ll learn. They’ll take action. And their ideas may well end up changing the world.

You and your students have the chance to be Eco-Heroes. You can envision the future, what life might be like, for example, in 2050 and then imagine the changes we need to make to insure a sustainable existence on Planet Earth. The contest is divided in Elementary: K-2 and 3-5 and Middle School Grades 6-8 (high school 9-12 coming in 2010). You can learn more about last year’s top three winners in the Siemens Media Center.
