Reading to students is a great way to relieve stress or reduce the level of stress felt by students after the taking of a test. It gives them an opportunity to unwind, give their brains a rest and just relax. Listening to someone else read can be a very soothing experience because students will not have to work their brains in the ways that they had to for the test but rather use a different part of their brain to listen to what is being read. The idea of reading to students is one that I feel can transfer to any grade level as every level of education has materials which would easily translate into being used for this activity.
