Michigan's LearnPort

As many educators do I am taking a couple of continuing education courses this summer. These just happen to be all on-line and self paced. As I like to share good stuff, I share the Michigan LearnPort site.

I am amazed at how many of my fellow educators don’t know about the site.

It is free to join and set up an account. There are currently 352 to choose from. Many are…get this…. FREE! Topics include early childhood, middle school, compliance, technology, school administration, and special education.

Course providers include Atomic Learning, MDE, MIT, Michigan Virtual U., and ed2go.

After completing the course(s) you may earn CEU, SB-CEU’s and even college credit.

So if you are looking to brush up on your teaching skills, learn a new skill, or need to earn credits to continue your teaching certificate head over to Michigan Learnport.

This is a great resource! I like being able to access “Nettrekker” to find online activities for my students to use. It can be found under “Resources” on your personal login page.
