Carter Center LogoThe Jimmy Carter Library and Museum and the Coca Cola Foundation are sponsoring field trips to the newly renovated museum and library for Georgia’s students. In 2009 the museum underwent a ten-million dollar renovation, and is now one of the most high-tech museums in the country. Programs and exhibits are aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS). Visit to see a replica of the Carter Oval Office, conduct research, spend a day in the life of a president, and learn about the post-presidency work of the Carter Center. Sponsorships include museum admission fees and transportation costs! Sponsored field trips are available to all schools within the state of Georgia. Applications are accepted year-round. Field Trip Sponsorship Program.  Freedom Sisters Exhibit and Contest The Carter Center Library and Museum is featuring the Freedom Sisters exhibit through Sunday, October 3, 2010. This is an interactive exhibit of twenty heroic women that defied their circumstances, and contributed to the struggle for equality and justice in America.
