Spotlight on the Carter Center Library and Museum

The Carter Center Library and Museum has recently undergone a $10 million dollar renovation. In a previous blog post I profiled the free field trip sponsorships available with this museum. Each week I will spotlight a museum, zoo, aquarium, or park in Georgia with educational offerings. The information will also be listed on the corresponding blog page. If you would like to suggest a location to be featured in the weekly blog post, please post it as a comment on the blog. The library is a member of the National Archives, and features the papers of former President Jimmy Carter. The museum features a replica of the Oval Office, presidential gifts, and an interactive map table that can be used to virtually travel the globe to visit the sites of the many Carter Center projects. In addition, there are many digital documents available for educational use on the website.
