Frank Devereaux, a Educational Technology Coach/Infotech Teacher at Savanna Oaks Middle School is one of Wisconsin’s newest DEN STARS.  Frank answered a few quick questions to help us get to know him better.  I hope to see Frank at future DEN events!

What is your teaching background/experience?

Taught science for 12 years and just recently switched to teach information technology

How do you use Discovery Streaming with students?

I use the assignment builder to create video clips for the students to watch and then blog about.  I consider these assignment as enrichment knowledge.  Students are learning information that coincides with our topics.

What do you hope to gain from becoming a STAR Educator?

I hope to gain valuable resources that i can share with my teachers so they can implement them into the everyday classroom practices.
