VA and MD DENS Collaborate for FALL Virtual Conference

Virginia and Maryland are super excited to invite you to the Fall Virtual Conference on Saturday, October 23rd.

The day will feature special presentations from Gail Lovely and Hall Davidson along with featured STAR Discovery Educators sharing their projects from the DEN Summer Institute (DENSI10). A host of other great sessions from your DEN team is guaranteed to satisfy your digital sweet tooth.

As part of the day’s festivities we’ll have prizes for the best costumes that day. Whether you are attending in-person or online, get dressed up and you could win a fabulous prize for your classroom.

The Virginia and Maryland in person event will be centered around the theme of “51 WAYS”, DEN members from both states will gather at Area 51 EAST, better known as 1 Discovery Place in Silver Spring, MD to explore new tools for digital story telling using Discovery Education resources. Rumor has it, we will be able to use the green room, (hopefully without little green men), and even snag a preview of the soon-to-be launched: 3D Discovery  Channel.

Participants Will Leave With:
