The DEN is pleased to announce that registration for the Quest for Curiosity is now open! The Quest for Curiosity is a teacher-led activity allowing students to navigate Discovery Education STREAMING resources to find answers to 10 questions spanning core curriculum areas. No matter what grade you teach and what your academic focus is, the Quest for Curiosity is a great challenge that will engage your students in a journey that will help them harness the skills needed to shine in the 21st century.
Registration is open February 18, 2011 through March 20, 2011. For registration details and more information, please visit http://links.discoveryeducation.com/questforcuriosity . Educators who register by March 20, 2011 will gain access to the Quest for Curiosity questions on March 21, 2011 and may begin working through the activity with their students.
Prizes will be awarded to the first twenty-five participant entries with accurate responses for all questions on their Quest for Curiosity submission. Five grand prize winners will receive a Flipcam and 30 Discovery Education student backpacks. We will also be awarding 20 additional educators with a classroom set of 30 Discovery Education student backpacks. We will be announcing the Quest for Curiosity winners at the DEN Spring Virtual Conference on April 30, 2011, so stay tuned for more details on the conference.
