I know it seems like the summer is far far away but it is never too early to plan for summer learning fun. This summer there will be many training opportunities throughout the state of Virginia, listed below are two such options.  Think about presenting and sharing a great lesson or project that you found successful in your classroom. The Shenandoah Valley SMART Users Conference

The 3rd annual SVTC SMART Teaching Conference will be hosted at John Handley High School, in beautiful Winchester, VA on August 2, 2011. Presenters and Participants will gather from around Virginia to share ideas, tips, tricks and lessons using the SMART family of products including SMART Boards, SMART Notebook, Response systems and document cameras. Come and enjoy an engaging day with your colleagues and learn a thing or two about teaching with SMART Products!

SUCCESS Conference: SMART Users Collaborating, Educating, Sharing, and Supporting

The 4th Annual Free SUCCESS Conference will be hosted at Kenmore Middle School in Arlington, Virginia on August 17, 2011. Get the most out of your SMART Board, interactive student response systems, document camera, wireless slates, audio systems, and other instructional devices. Join us to learn how neighboring schools and school districts use interactive technologies, share ideas with colleagues, meet SMART Exemplary Educators, and discover tips and tricks to enhance your lessons.  This SUCCESS Conference will offer training just in time for the 2011-12 school year.
