The Tellus Museum – A Great Place to Explore and Learn!

Visit the exciting and interactive Tellus Museum! The Tellus Museum has much to offer visitors of all ages. Children will love the child friendly and interactive museum where they can create their own earthquakes, view glow in the dark gems and stones, dig for fossils, and pan for gems and stones. Students can view dinosaur fossils alongside interesting machines, and see the stars in the planetarium. The Tellus also hosts fun family events such as Night at the Museum where historical figures come to life for children to talk to, and Family Science Night  (April 15, 2011) where kids can meet Oscar the Grouch and learn about alternative energy sources. The Tellus also hosts Heavy Metal in Motion, where children can view classic cars, motorcycles, helicopters, and construction equipment.
