New content related to Current Events!

In this month alone, two new and relevant resources have been added to Discovery Education!

Just in case you missed the events earlier this month, the DEN team has added the resources to Discovery Education, so you will be able to use them in your classroom and engage your students with what is going on in the world.

Here are brief descriptions of the resources and how to find them through your account :

White House National Security Webinar

For a very special webinar regarding the recent events with Osama Bin Laden that was held on Thursday, May 5th.  Teachers and students are invited to join Ben Rhodes, Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Speechwriting.

The discussion within this webinar may include details and concepts not suitable for all ages.

After the Tsunami: Japan Today with Dr. Michio Kaku (ND)

Discovery Education invites you to an exclusive webinar with distinguished physicist, Dr. Michio Kaku, as he discusses the nuclear crisis in Japan following March’s devastating earthquake.
