Whoo Hoo Westchester, NY – Here We Come!

Attention all New York-area educators – The Discovery Educator Team is coming to town!

That’s right!  On Saturday, November 5, 2011 we’ll be delivering the Westchester Day of Discovery at the Westchester County Center.

What’s a Day of Discovery and why should you attend?

Designed specifically for New-York-area educators, this interactive day of free professional development will highlight many creative ways to engage your students and invigorate your curriculum using the latest 21st century tools.  Whether you are new to Discovery Education or a long-time user in search of the latest instructional strategies, this event has something for everyone!

Hall Davidson, Discovery Education’s Director of Global Initiatives will be keynoting the day as well as delivering workshops.  In addition to Hall several nationally recognized speakers will be delivering workshops as well.

Everyone who attends will have the opportunity to participate in multiple sessions, earn a certificate and win great prizes.  We’ll even be feeding you breakfast and lunch!

Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to meet and network with your peers from around the region.  Oh and did I mention have a lot of fun along the way?

Now here’s the deal – these days fill up super fast.  How fast is fast?  I’m talking by-the-time-you’ve-finished-reading-this-post kind of fast.

We also want you to bring your friends!  Please email, tweet, blog, and/or text this post to your friends. Here is the link https://blog.discoveryeducation.com/blog/2011/09/30/westchesterdod-2/
