I recently learned about Remind 101 on a Classroom 2.0 webinar with principal Joe Mazza on January 21, 2012. I sent the link to our assistant principal, and he adopted it. We recently has a school crisis, and the whole staff had to be notified. Our assistant principal found this extremely awkward to execute from his cell phone since he could only text groups of 15 at a time. Remind 101 looks to be a good solution to the problem. Of course, it’s a text out only; one cannot respond to the text, but for mass communication purposes, I guess that is o.k.
