Here’s what Patti has to say about the DEN:
Becoming a DEN Star is the best thing I ever did! The friendships, resources and professional development continue to positively impact me and my students on a daily basis. Thank you Discovery Education!
Patti will be at DENSI 2012.
What is DENSI? The DEN Summer Institute (DENSI) is a week-long intensive (fun) professional development opportunity exclusively for DEN STARs. We’re headed to Bozeman, Montana this year. July 21-26 will be jam-packed with great ideas, amazing friends, and loads of fun. If you’re a STAR Discovery Educator, we encourage you to apply.
How much does it cost? Lodging, meals, and all the professional development and fun will be covered by the Discovery Educator Network. All travel costs to and from the institute, are the responsibility of the STAR Discovery Educator.
Apply by March 1 for a chance to have your airfare costs covered by the DEN!
Wondering what you need to do to apply? Create a 60 second video explaining why you want to attend the DEN Summer Institute then fill out a short form.
