UNC Science Expo

Check out this year’s UNC Science Expo, a celebration of science at UNC-Chapel Hill, which will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 11am-3pm. At the Expo, you’ll have the opportunity to go “behind the scenes” into science labs that are on the cutting edge of research and meet the scientists behind the discoveries. The Expo will also feature dozens of hands-on activities, a science stage featuring action-packed shows and science storytelling, and much, much more. You can even meet a Nobel Laureate, UNC’s own Dr. Oliver Smithies!

The UNC Science Expo is appropriate for all ages and is a perfect way to spend the day with your family, friends, scout troop or students. While on campus, plan to stay for the Carolina Spring Football Game, held at 3pm in Kenan Stadium. It’s FREE, too!
