Colorado Day of Discovery

Saturday, April 14, 2012 nearly 150 educators gathered in Aurora, CO for a Day of Discovery.  Not sure what a Day of Discovery is?  It’s a day of professional development, networking, learning and fun — all centered around Discovery Education!

This day was hosted at Vista PEAK Preparatory School, which is a new building in Aurora Public Schools.  Thanks so much to the staff for taking such good care of the Discovery Education team and providing us with a wonderful facility.

The sessions that day focused on various topics, including;  iPads, Power Point, Digital Storytelling, Audio, Video and TechBook!  Many people indicated, even before the day was over, that they had learned so much and couldn’t wait to get back to their classrooms to put what they’d learned to use.  Please share in the comments below how you’ve implemented something new that you learned that day!
