The first full week of Connected Educator Month has begun and the learning possibilities continue. Here are a few highlights occurring during the next couple of days.
**August 7th, 7 pm EST – Discovery Education’s Collective Brain webinar. Explore the latest, greatest, and most effective resources shared by STAR educators and members of the Discovery Education Network team.
**Tuesday, August 7th, 8 pm EST Steve Hargadon talks with Lee Rainie, Director of the Pew Research Center’s Internet + American Life Project, a non-profit, non–partisan “fact tank” that studies the social impact of the internet. Lee is co-author of the new book Networked: The New Social Operating System.
**August 8th, 2 pm EST – A panel discussion with Stephen Downes, Howard Gardner, Alfie Kohn, and Gary Stager talking about the need to reform the education reform movement.
