Midyear Mind Explosion Update!

We would just like to announce a change in our special Midyear Mind Explosion webinar series that is scheduled to kick off today at 7 PM EST with Somersaulting into the Classroom! Be sure to register soon for tonight’s webinar!

If you take a look at the original webinar schedule, you may have noticed that Myth Busted: DE is Only for Teachers was scheduled to run once on November 20th and then again on December 4th. Now, instead of running that specific webinar twice, we will have a brand new webinar take its place! So on December 4th, be sure to check out All About Amphibians! which is scheduled from 1-2 PM EST and is being broadcast LIVE from the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC!

Here is a general synopsis of the event:

Did you know that amphibians are vital to their ecosystems and to humans, but they are threatened with extinction? Dedicated scientists around the world are working to save amphibians, and you can too. Join scientists and researchers LIVE from the National Zoo in Washington D.C., where your class will be able to see a wide range of amphibians from around the world; learn what amphibians are, why they are important, and the threats facing amphibians; and hear about programs that you can get involved in to help save amphibians in your local area.

We aren’t am-FIB-ian around! Register today to participate in this unique event brought to you by the Siemens STEM Academy and National Zoo!

We hope that you will be able to join us on December 4th and for all the other webinars in this series. To register for the webinars in the Midyear Mind Explosion, you can do so here.
