I had the opportunity to present to educators at the Tennessee STEM Leadership Academy (#tsla13) on Wednesday afternoon at Oak Ridge Associated Universities in Tennessee. We has 2.5 hours for attendees to pass through a dozen or so session to learn about a wide-ranging list of STEM opportunities and programs to help as they integrate strategies and resources within their districts. This equated to a series of round-robin sessions lasting approximately 18 minutes per group. I was asked to share some of the free STEM resources that Discovery Education offers; specifically, the Siemens STEM Academy and the We Can Change the World Challenge. The last time I remember presenting in this format was for educators in Palm Beach schools a year or so ago. And I have to tell you, time passed just as fast as I remembered.
I presented in a live-demo presentation style. For these workshops I enjoy demonstrating new ways to curate information. Below is an embedable Learnist board. Would love to know your thoughts and hear what you have to say.
