STEM Camp Powered Fun at the Boys & Girls Club

This Saturday in Harrisburg was STEM-tastic at the Boys & Girls Club!  Local STARs connected to the DEN VirtCon and helped get students excited about the possibilities of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

During Family Fun Day we got our hands-dirty (literally…food coloring doesn’t come off as easy as you might think) and worked with students of all ages in a variety of STEM activities.

          • Geocaching
          • Green Screen Magic
          • Tie-dye Postcards
          • The Science of Water
          • Digital Boards
          • Invention Station

A very special thanks to the leaders at the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg for hosting us.  What an amazing place for young people to learn and grow.

The day was powered by Discovery Education STEM Camp – free STEM curricula you can use with your out-of-school time programs.
