What an awesome opportunity for educators! I am positive this experience would be great for me and thus benefit my students for years to come.

I tried uploading my contest entry for the “Past is Present” contest. It is only 3pm and the contest is closed. I would really like to enter. I just heard about this contest two days ago. I am really busy with my classes this year. I had to spend a lot of time figuring out how to upload and create a video. I am asking to be considered. My submission should at least still be on your website.

I tried uploading my video and questions, but the contest was closed. I did not see ANY designated time therefore I assumed it was 11:59pm on October 3, 2014. Please advise.

The contest closed at the end of October 3, 2014, or when 200 applications were submitted, whichever came first. Because the limit of 200 entries/applications was reached prior to the end of October 3rd, the contest was then closed. If you did not submit your application prior to this time, it was not considered.

Correction: The limit of number of entries/applications was 100 and not 200, according to the official rules. I made a typo above.

Has anyone heard anything regarding the announced winners? They were supposed to be announced on November 1st, but as of today, still no word it seems.
