We regularly get emails from community members asking great questions so I thought I’d start a periodic series that answers them. I think that if one person has a question and takes time to ask, there have to be others wondering the same thing silently.
Discovery Education has been rolling out updates to My DE. This is the first page you see when you log in to Discovery Education. I have gotten a few emails this week asking about STAR status, so I thought I’d show you where you find your stuff!
When you log in to Discovery Education, aim your eyes at the middle of the page. Our development team has been working to bring your Community to the front and center of your experience with Discovery Education. Look for the word Community. Here’s a screen grab for you.
Click on it. If you are a STAR Discovery Educator, you should see something like this:
If that’s what you see, you are all set. If you are a STAR Discovery Educator and do not see that here’s what you should do:
- Make sure you are logged in to your account that should have STAR status.
- If you are, contact our talented Customer Support team. (Here’s the link for those of you in Canada.) Make sure you tell them these things:
- Your DE Username
- That you had STAR status, but it is missing now
- Whether your STAR status is associated with a previous school or an old username you no longer use
