We are incredibly excited to announce the release of a new feature that will dramatically change the way you interact with others within Discovery Education. Last night, we officially launched User Commenting! If you look up any asset within Discovery Education Streaming, Streaming Plus and our Techbooks, you’ll find at the bottom of the page a comment box for you to add your own ideas! Note: United States only for now, international coming soon.

We’ve been testing it out with members of the DEN Leadership Council and have seen educators using it to share integration strategies, lesson ideas, questions that they’ve had, and links to other videos that work well together! During our beta period, more than 800 comments have been submitted, and it’s incredible to see just how valuable our community is finding the feature. Now you can do much more than just watch the video and use it in your classroom, you can see how others are making use of it and share ideas of your own!

To celebrate this exciting new feature, we’re thrilled to share the latest episode of Discovery Education Essentials, which takes you through everything you need to know to get started!

Being able to share ideas and inspiratons makes teaching a less “lonely” profession. That’s what is great thing about the DEN community. You know you’re not alone.
