We hope you enjoyed our Summer Twist SOS series, where we shared many different ways that educators are putting their own spin on the SOS. We love that they are being used in all different kinds of classrooms with all different grade levels, including adults!
We have some exciting news! Over the summer a brand new SOS Content Collection was launched! You’ll find it in the Discovery Education Professional Development Materials, which is linked from your landing page when you login to your DE account. In the header area at the top of the page you’ll find a featured SOS. Be sure to take a look at this strategy and consider how you might use it in your classroom.
We are most exited about the section below the Featured SOS. This is where you will find the entire collection of SOS strategies, which are now organized into different categories. This makes it quick and easy for you to identify a strategy that will fit your instructional goals. Click on the header of the strategy you’re interested in and all of the strategies that fit that category will be listed. You’ll see a title, description and a thumbnail image for each one.
We think this new Content Collection is a great way to find and share SOS strategies with your colleagues. Let us know what you think!
