5 Ways to Use Discovery Education – September Edition

September was our 8th edition of our  5 Ways to Use Discovery Education webinar series.  Each month we are highlighting DEN Community members as they share five unique strategies, tools, or resources for using Discovery Education in your classroom.

Kyle led this month’s edition. Susan Bowdoin, a STAR from Albuquerque, kicked us off with sharing her favorite SOS. While she claims she has no favorite, this one was the most recent she used and therefore her current favorite.

While Dean was absent (apparently airplane wifi doesn’t support webinars) but he did provide a video sharing some things from Techbook

Rodney Crouse from North Carolina, shares how multiple grades went on a virtual field trip to an egg farm. In case you missed this week’s trip, you’re in luck! Watch it with your students.

Another Dean, Dean Mantz from Kansas and long time DEN member and Guru, showed how he uses Discovery Education with a few web tools

Finally Rob Lamb of St.Louis, shares how he uses inforgraphics with his students. Great stuff!
