Join us at the Apple Store in the West Towne Mall, Madison, WI on Saturday, February 20 at 8:00 a.m. to learn how the iPad can be used in the classroom and for professional development purposes.
Specifically, you will learn how to record, edit and share video using iMovie on the iPad. We will also demonstrate how to take and bring in screenshots or saved images from other apps. and Discovery Education. Finally, you will learn how to put music and audio into your iMovie. Imagine the projects that you and your students will be able to create.
In addition, since we realize many are interested in pursuing their National Boards, we will show you everything necessary to use your iPad as a video recording tool for that purpose. We will demo equipment used and recording techniques along with tips, including which microphone might be useful. In addition, you will also learn how to get footage off your iPad.
8:00 a.m. – Arrive at the Apple Store and enjoy some treats.
8:10 – 9:15 a.m. – Discover how the iPad can be used as a powerful recording and editing tool.
9:15 – 9:45 a.m. – Learn how to use iMovie with other apps. and Discovery Education.
9:45 – 10a.m. – Prizes and a group photo.
