Where is DENSI? It’s Here.

Keep the guesses coming and I’ll keep the hints flowing.

This magnificent place, with an attitude of defiance. It’s no wonder the Picasso, van Gogh and Renoir could be found hanging around or on the prowl.

There are a lot of great places to hold the institute.  No matter where it’s held each year, being together with such amazing people is what truly matters.  Until July, there are multiple opportunities to join other members of the community, both in-person and virtually.  Join FableVision and Discovery Education for a live read aloud of the book Going Places from award-winning authors and illustrators Peter H. and Paul A. Reynolds. Live streaming from the FableVision Studios we will go behind-the-scenes as they reveal their newest projects, share their creative process, and answer student questions.

Hmmm. Rachel may be on to something with her Chicago guess and Dean all but “cnfrms” it. Evenings listening to the waves is a bit of a challenge. Loyola and Northwestern have dorms within earshot of Lake Michigan, and then there’s always Navy Pier down the street from the Discovery offices… The first institute in Chicago was just south of the Loop and a few blocks from the lake.

I am still standing firmly in LA. The Getty Museum houses all of the mentioned artists’ works, including Van Gogh’s Irises. Not to mention that the Getty Center sits on a hilltop in the Santa Monica Mountains, the view from there, include the Pacific Ocean, the San Gabriel Mountains, and the landscape of the city.
