When you visit a website or open an app, do you ever stop to think why it looks the way it does, functions in a certain way, or how it guides you to do certain things?
Meet Julia Stuart, Senior Director of Interface Design and Usability. Julia heads up the User Experience (UX) and Design group at Discovery Education. She leads a talented group of creative folk who design online responsive web applications for teachers and students. In other words, they make sure Discovery Education is easy, fun, and intuitive to use. She does this by setting product strategy, participating in design reviews, and observing and researching how teachers and students interact with Discovery Education.
Julia loves the collaborative processes in her work, and she has a passion for encouraging creativity while being smart and efficient.
