Meet: Jason Robey
Discovery Communications Senior Digital Content Director
Career: Digital Media Creator
Have you ever followed a company, store, musician, or television show on social media? If you follow a show, network, brand, or company, what kinds of things will you see in your feed?
Jason Robey, Senior Digital Content Director, gets to help shape and decide how Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and Science Channel support their shows across all digital and social platforms. He develops fun and creative ways to engage digital followers around topics like wildlife, conservation, pets, space, adventure, extreme jobs, and the world itself – that’s why if you follow Animal Planet on Instagram, you’ll see stories of animal adoptions or great fish catches, or follow Shark Week on Facebook, and you’ll be treated to killer content and shark tales.
Fun facts: Jason grew up with a passion for science, animals, technology, and the world around us. He was a Zoology and Anthropology major in college, and his favorite project to work on is Shark Week.
